| Touch Drawing is a wonderful process for many things, including healing the world. I learned about the process at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in 2005 when I met Deborah Koff-Chapin, who developed Touch Drawing. I use the process to help my students gain an awareness of a sense of free-play. By relying on their intuition, which this process is based on, the students play through improvisation and emote onto the paper. The technique is similar to mono-type printing, and the original drawing is made with water-soluble oil paints. However, the process is dissimilar in that Touch Drawing begins with meditation and no preconceived ideas for the finished product.
